It introduces the character of Mrs. Malaprop. *February 23 - Pierre Beaumarchais' comedy ''Le Barbier de Séville'' is premièred by the Comédie-Française at the Tuileries Palace in Paris. Rewritten, it reopens on February 26 to acclaim.
